Scissor Sisters performance at World Cafe

One of best actions from the New York City club scene, Scissor Sisters' sound is drawn from disco, glam rock, and, of course, the option night life of the Big Apple.

Scissor Sistors shaped in 2001 by two friends from Kentucky, Jake Shears and Scott "Babydaddy" Hoffman, Scissor Sisters truly came into form with the addition of Ana "Ana Matronic" Lynch, a musician who ran a weekly cabaret event. The three started off as the Fibrillating Scissor Sisters, slowly sophisticated a standing for brazen beats and brazen lyrics. In the years since, they've added members, work together with likes Kylie Minogue and Elton John, added to numerous soundtracks, and released three full-lengths.
