Scissor Sisters cancelled many European dates

Scissor Sisters have cancelled a number of upcoming European shows due to "funding issues".

A many European dates of Scissor Sisters upcoming shows have been cancelled due to financial problems.

According to ScissorSisters.com

"become impossible to make the tour work financially".

Meanwhile, the band's formerly confirmed dates in the UK will still take place, beginning in Brighton on December 2.

Scissor Sister announced UK Tour Dates

                        A four-piece American glam pop/disco New York band was shaped in 2000 by lead vocalist Jake Shears (born Jason Sellards) and keyboardist/bass guitarist Babydaddy (born Scott Hoffman). The other team members are Ana Matronic (born Ana Lynch), lead vocals, and Del Marquis (born Derek Gruen), guitar. Drummer Paddy Boom (born Patrick Seacor) division from the group in 2008. The group was named after a sex position between two women. The lyrics of their songs, largely written by Shears and Babydaddy, are famous for their combination of humour and catastrophe.
